Jack Crowley’s late goal has given Munster a one-point win over Leinster in the United Rugby Championship semi-final in Dublin.

Munster’s 16-15 win in the Irish derby put them through to the final in Cape Town against the Stormers.

South Africa, the holders, overcame Connacht to win their semi final 43-25.

Defeat for the Galway side signaled the end of manager Andy Friend’s time in charge.

Munster’s shock win over Leinster at the Aviva Stadium means they will travel to South Africa to play the Stormers in the URC final on 27 May.

Leinster boss Leo Cullen rested a number of players last Saturday, with his side playing La Rochelle in next week’s European Champions Cup final.

Crowley’s superb strike with two minutes to play ended Leinster’s hopes of a double and put Graham Rowntree’s men within striking distance of a first championship since 2011.

Lots to follow.
