Wilson, brother of Jets QB, commits to Utah-News


Quarterback Isaac Wilson, brother of New York Jets backup Zach Wilson, he volunteered to Utah Wednesday night.

Isaac is an undrafted four-star QB from Corner Canyon High School (Draper, Utah). Zach Wilson was a three-star star before playing three years BYU (2018-20) and eventually became the second overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft.

In 14 games last season for Corner Canyon, the 6-foot, 185-pound Isaac threw for 3,774 yards and 40 touchdowns while also rushing for 695 yards and five scores to help lead his team to an 11-3 record and a berth. 6A state title game.

He had something to offer from Arizona, Arizona StateBYU, Miami and Oregon.

Isaac left for Salt Lake City in April and will give coach Kyle Whittingham a tough path to replace Cameron Rising after the upcoming season. Rising threw for 2,939 yards with 25 touchdowns and seven interceptions in his second season with the Utes, which led to a second straight Pac-12 championship.

Utah brought home a total of 20 in the 2023 class, ranking third in the Pac-12 behind Oregon and USC.
